Who am I? 

           

                 Who is this person I am writing about 

                He is a director who has gained great clout 

 

                His mother a teacher and his father was a jazz musician  

            From a young age he had unmatched ambition 

 

His breakout film was she's gotta have it 

 He revolutionized film with wit and his talent  

 

He has spent his life making what he calls "joints 

Which are what we call movies and they never disappoint 

 

                  Another one of his classics is Malcome X 

And people are constantly wondering what he will do next. 

 

 So who is this person I have mentioned constantly
